MakCik Travels is a digital platform providing curated, safe, and empowering companionship services specifically for women. It integrates user-friendly booking systems, AI-based matching, and verified community-based support to ensure secure and meaningful experiences for female travellers.

INSPIRATION OF THE INVENTION

Inspired by the lack of inclusive and secure travel options for women especially older women or those with limited mobility

MakCik Travels was created to foster independence, confidence, and lifelong learning through companion, friendship, and shared experiences.

PROBLEM STATEMENT & CURRENT ISSUES

Many women, especially in conservative or ageing communities, face mobility barriers, safety concerns, or social stigma when travelling alone. There’s a critical gap in female-focused travel services that combine companionship, safety, and personalization.

MakCik Travels introduces a companion-based travel model that blends tech-enabled matching, community trust-building, and gender-sensitive travel planning—a unique niche within the travel tech and social enterprise sectors in Southeast Asia.
